Pingüinos! / Penguins!

Después de una actuación en una iglesia Afrikáans con la mayoría “coloreds” (gente de raza mixta) nuestra anfitriona, Estelle, nos informó que íbamos a ver una colonia de pingüinos… ¿en Sudáfrica con temperaturas de 30 grados? ¡Claro que sí!

After doing a Spanish dance and sharing in a “Colored” (mixed race) Afrikáans church, our driver, Estelle, told us we were going to visit a penguin colony.  Penguins? In South Africa at 85ºF temperatures? Of course!!

Fuimos por furgoneta hasta casi el punto más sureño de África, un lugar que se llama “Simons Town” donde hay una reserva para un especie de pingüino que le gusta aguas calientes. Fue la temporada de cría y pudimos acercarnos a ellos tanto que a veces fue difícil distinguir los miembros de nuestro equipo de los mismos pingüinos.

We travelled by van to almost the most southerly point of Africa, a place called “Simons Town” where there is a nature reserve for a penguin species that likes warmer waters. It was breeding season and we could get so close that it was hard to tell which were the penguins and which were members of our team!

Playas maravillosas / Beautiful beaches

After intense days in Klipheuvel, Saturday was our day off so…Capetown here we come! Unfortunately, after three sunny days, the weather turned fickle and the clouds and rain rolled in. No problem for this team!  Armed with enough cameras to outfit national geographic, we went to the top of Signal Hill for the view, checked out the new stadium where Spain recently won an important match and, of course, came away with armfuls of souvenirs.

Después de varios días intensos en Klipheuvel, el sábado fue nuestro día libre y… nos vamos a Capetown! Desafortunadamente, después de tres días soleados las nubes y la lluvia descendieron sobre nuestra zona. No problema para este equipo! Cargados con suficientes cámaras y equipo fotográfico para Nacional Geographic, fuimos a la cumbre de Signal Hill para saborear vistas preciosas de la ciudad, visitamos el nuevo estadio donde la Roja había ganado un partido importante, y claro, compramos un montón de recuerdos en los mercadillos.

La Catedral / The Cathedral

Probably the most interesting stop was a visit to the downtown Cathedral, the parish of Desmond Tutu, one of the protagonists, along with Mandela, of the transition period. In the basement, we were given a special guided tour of the exhibit remembering the peace march in September of 1989 which brought together 30,000 South Africans of every color and social strata to protest the inhumane treatment and killings that characterized the government during that time. We read about how people fasted and prayed for two weeks in the church before embarking on this march that was the beginning of the end of Apartheid in South Africa. They called it a “Kairos moment”, a prophetic time of God’s special grace. They reminded us that huge power shifts were not only occurring in South Africa, but Europe as well as that fall of 1989 coincided with the breaking down of the Berlin Wall and the opening of Eastern Europe in our continent. Interesting stuff!

Tal vez, la parada más interesante fue en la Catedral Central donde el famoso Desmond Tutu, uno de los grandes protagonistas con Nelson Mandela de la transición, es el pastor. En el sótano de la iglesia, nos dieron un tour personal de la exhibición en memorial de la marcha para la paz del septiembre de 1989 que reunió más de 30.000 sudafricanos de cada color y nivel social para protestar contra el trato inhumano y las matanzas que caracterizaron el gobierno de aquella época. Leímos sobre cómo la gente ayunó por más de dos semanas en la misma iglesia antes de iniciar la marcha que señaló el principio del fin del Apartheid en Sudáfrica. Ellos lo llamaron un “momento Kairos”, un período profético cuando parecía que Dios estaba operando con un dosis de gracia especial. Nos recordaron que durante el mismo período, el otoño del 1989, el muro de Berlín también se cayó y empezó un proceso que abrió todos los países de Europa del Este.  Interesante!!

First days of outreach in Klipheuvel, so much to share. Imagine a couple hundred kids aged 2-22, most living in shackes with little or no parental stability, all spread out in the dust of a parking lot. Now imagine trying to get a message across when few speak English, some speak Xhosa others Afrikaans and most of our team speaks only Spanish… You’re starting to get the picture of the challenge and the adventure of our outreach days in this squatter’s village.

Primeros días de campaña en Klipheuvel, y tantas historias para contar. Imagínate: unos centenares de niños con edades de 2 a 22 años, la mayoría viviendo en chabolas con poca o nula estabilidad provisto por los padres. Ahora piensa en cómo trasmitir un mensaje cuando pocos hablan Inglés, algunos utilizan Xhosa como lengua materna, otros son Afrikáans parlantes y nuestro equipo viene de España.  Ahora empiezas a acercarte al reto que nos enfrentó el primer día en este pueblo precario.

Maquillarse en público / Public make-up session

Esther made up a song in English, “Today is the day I’m going to learn, to learn, to learn.” We used sketches showing how Jesus valued the individual in the lives of Zaccheus (using puppets), the prostitute and the thief on the cross (using mime). We created the character Punchinello, a clown who always needed a little extra grace. However, they told us that the clown make-up might scare the younger ones, so Ariel decided to put his makeup on in front of the kids with music playing.  It worked!

Esther decidió componer una canción… en inglés! “Today is the day I’, going to learn, to learn, to learn…” Utilizamos esqueches demostrando cómo Jesús valoró a los individuos en la vida de Zaqueo (con títeres), la prostituta y el ladrón en la cruz (los dos últimos con mimo). Creamos el personaje de Punchinello, un payaso que siempre hacía falta un poco de gracia extra. Sin embargo, nos avisaron que el maquillaje del payaso puede asustar a los peques así que Ariel aplicó su maquillaje en frente de los niños con música al fondo.  Funcionó!

Funcionó! / The ol' magic trick worked!

We found that even our best crowd control efforts didn´t function with such a large age span. A couple of the younger ones would just roam around punching or kicking anyone they could find. So the next two days we split them into age groups of 2-12 and teenage and up. After a short program, the younger ones played games and chanted to Ariel’s endless supply of  crowd-movers. You had to be here to catch the humor of 100 kids yelling out “Espaghetti, lasagna, macaroni cha-cha!” while marching down the center street of the settlement. Everyone is into football (soccer for our American friends!) after the World cup. Samuel set up cones for practice drills and we were especially amazed to find one boy who with a pair of crutches and no right leg might even give Messi a run for his money.

Encontramos que aun nuestros mejores esfuerzos no lograron controlar un rango de edad tan amplio. Algunos menores deambulaban entre los otros pegando y dando patadas a cualquier persona que podían encontrar. Entonces, para los dos días siguientes, dividimos los chavales en dos grupos de edad, de 2 a 12 años y los adolescentes y mayores. Después de un breve programa juntos, los menores jugaron juegos y chillaron los cantos que Ariel saca de la chistera. Qué espectáculo ver 100 niños gritando, “Espagueti, lasaña, macarroni sí-sí!” mientras marcharon en la calle central del pueblo.

On the third day, our theme was dreaming dreams with God, a message we have felt especially impressed to share with these wonderful young people. In the older sharing groups several of the guys shared their aspirations to be engineers, teachers and football players – career dreams that can seem awfully far away when you live in a shack made of scrap wood with no heat or running water. But God is up to something and we are excited to share a few more days and a final celebration next Tuesday, our final day in Klipheuvel.  Gaby left today back to Barcelona but not before being treated to the traditional English breakfast.  What a way to go!!

Para el tercer día, propusimos el tema de soñar sueños con Dios, un mensaje que todos hemos sentido central para nuestra estancia con estos jóvenes maravillosos. En los grupos de discusión entre los mayores, varios de los chicos compartieron sus ilusiones para llegar a ser ingenieros, maestros, y futbolistas – carreras que pueden costar mucho para realizar cuando vienes de una chabola hecha de madera descartada sin calefacción ni agua corriente. Pero Dios esta obrando aquí y estamos muy ilusionados, nosotros mismos, para pasar algunos días más aquí en Klipheuvel. Gaby volvió a Barcelona hoy para trabajar, pero no ates de disfrutar de un desayuno tradicional.  Una buena manera de despedirse!

Heartfelt appreciation for Pat Blair our host in Hillcrest, lots of goodbyes to our new Zulu friends and then a sunset flight back to Capetown on August 2. The next day we headed out to the place we will be doing a day-camp for kids and teenagers this next week. The settlement is divided by the railroad tracks into two parts. On the south side are concrete block homes, with paved streets built by a government program intent on “formalizing” these squatter camps ringing the city of Capetown. On the other side, dirt tracks, no running water and the usual amazing assortment of shacks and lean-tos.

Con mucha apreciación a Pat Blair, nuestra anfitriona y a los otros nuevos amigos zulú de Durban, embarcamos a un vuelo a la Cuidad de Cabo por la tarde del 2 de agosto. Al día siguiente fuimos al lugar donde trabajaremos por toda esta semana. La colonia está divida en dos por ferrocarriles. La parte al sur está compuesta de pequeñas casas construidas de bloques de hormigón como parte de un programa gubermental para “formalizar” a estos campamentos de chabolas. En el otro lado hay el típico surtido de precarias chozas, cruzado con  caminos de tierra y sin agua corriente.

Our first stop was the home of Anna, the town mayor of sorts, who invited the other elders to come and get to know our team. Things really picked up when Olga pulled out our Spanish “cajón” (a Spanish percussion box) and each of the elders had a turn sitting on it and trying to imitate a flamenco 10-beat rhythm! They opened up the village to us with smiles and laughter. We walked down to the pre-school that King’s Kids helped build and held an impromptu program. And so begins our next odyssey in a town called Klipheuwel.

Nuestra primera parada fue la casa de Anna, la “alcaldesa” del pueblo. Ella invitó a todos los ancianos a venir para conocernos antes de nada. La movida empezó cuando Olga sacó nuestro cajón español y todos los ancianos tomaron turnos en sentarse sobre el cajón para demostrar sus habilidades en reproducir un ritmo flamenco!  Con risas y abrazos, nos abrieron toda la colonia a nosotros. Caminamos al parvulario que King’s Kids ayudó a construir y les ofrecimos un programa que deleitó a los 50 niños allí. Así empieza nuestra próxima odisea en un lugar que se llama Klipheuwel.

Chicas guapas / Good looking girls!

Hoy fue un día muy especial! Fuimos a la iglesia zulú en medio del Valle de Mil Colinas. Las chicas nos pusimos las típicas faldas africanas, y los chicos se pusieron muy guapos. Pudimos escuchar el dulce sonar de 200 voces africanas cantando coros desde fuera del gran edificio. Nos encantó la forma de adorar, y la alegría que derrochaban. Aunque no entendíamos el idioma nos sentíamos parte de su comunidad. Nos preparamos una canción en zulú para caminar hacia el frente, típica de la cultura. Después cantamos otra canción en español.

Today was a special day that started with our going to a Zulu church in the Valley of a Thousand Hills.  The girls dressed in typical African skirts and the guys didn´t look so bad Esther! We could hear the swaying sound of 200 African voices singing choruses from outside the large building that serves as their church. We really liked their way of worshipping, and they joy that poured out of their hearts. Even though we didn´t understand their language very well, we felt part of their community. They asked us to sing a Spanish song so we also prepared a Zulu song to accompany our march to the front (very cultural!) and then sang a spanish chorus.

Por la tarde tuvimos una fiesta española/zulú para despedirnos y honrar a algunos de nuestros nuevos amigos. Ellos nos prepararon un suculento plato con arroz y curry, y les cocinamos unas tortillas españoles inigualables. Antes de que salieran a sus casas y chabolas, les regalamos camisetas de la roja a todos y compartimos una charla sobre como Dios es el Padre para los que no lo tienen, un momento especial considerando que muchos eran huérfanos. Todos se vistieron con su nueva camiseta con orgullo excepto nuestro amigo holandés, Dick, que todavía no ha tragado la derrota de su nación en el Mundial! (ver la foto!)

Then we had a Zulu/Spanish dinner.  They made us a succulent local dish of rice and curry, while we made them some of the best tortilla español we have ever tasted! Before our new African friends left back for their homes and shacks, we gave each of them a red Spanish T-shirt and shared about the God Who is the Father of the fatherless, a special moment considering that many are orphans. Everyone wore their new Spanish shirts with pride except our Dutch friend Dick, who still is mourning the loss of Holland against Spain in the World Cup final (check out the picture and I’ll bet you can pick out who he is!)

Buenos días, Sudáfrica! / Good Morning South Africa!

Valle de Mil Colinas / Valley of a Thousand Hills

Hoy estamos experimentando un calor de 30ºC en pleno invierno. Después del desayuno, cargamos el “baki” con todo nuestro material, las mantas y los alimentos para salir temprano, rumbo a Embo a tan sólo 15 minutos de Hillcrest donde está la casa de nuestro alojamiento. Es otra colonia de chabolas, entre las miles que llenan todo el horizonte de la región, la cual es llamada “El valle de mil colinas”.

Good morning South Africa, where it’s 86 degrees F in the middle of winter today!
After breakfast, we loaded up the “Bucky” with our team stuff plus more blankets and food as quickly as we could to head off to a place called Embo in an area called “Valley of a thousand Hills”. It's only about 15 minutes from our house in Hillcrest, but truly a world apart.

Huau! Durante el camino veíamos como corrían los niños detrás de la camioneta regalándonos una gran sonrisa. Después de dos kilómetros de pista forestal, llegamos al lugar de la actuación, un cuadrado de polvo, donde unos 200 niños nos esperaban, con una gran expectación.

Wow! Along the way, the kids had the biggest smiles you can imagine and came running behind our pickup.  After a couple kilometers of dirt track, we arrived to the site of our ministry, a dsuty square where some 200 kids were waiting, with great expectations.

Funky Chicken African style

Las situaciones y vivencias que estamos encontrando son cada vez más conmovedoras.  En el poblado de chabolas pudimos conocer a un chico “negro” albino qu se llamó Sbungiseni. Nos impactó ver la realidad en la que vivía, en medio de un pueblo negro, bajo el sol de justicia y tener siempre que cubrir cada centímetro de su piel con una sudadera de manga larga y su capucha. Con la ayuda de nuestra traductora, Zama, algunos le dedicaron a él varias palabras de ánimo y Carlos le regaló su gorra favorita. Conocimos a otra chica con una blusa amarilla que ayudó a Curtis a aprender cómo decir en Zulu, “Estoy muy contento de estar aquí” “Ngiya jabula ukubalane”. (No cabe decir que no estamos aprendiendo Zulu muy rápidamente!). Al acabar, Curtis le regaló una foto del equipo y la niña se deshizo en lágrimas de gratitud. Sólo nos costó 20 céntimos la foto, pero fue recibido como una barra de oro. Mas tarde nos enteramos de la situación en la que vivía, donde sus padres son alcohólicos y ella no siempre sabe a donde va a dormir de una noche a otra.

The reality of life in these settlements is often horrible and amazing at the same time. In this place we got to know a young man born with absolutely no skin pigment (an albino), named Sbungiseni. It moved our hearts to think about his situation, living in the midst of black Africans, underneath the hot sun, always keeping every square inch of his body covered by a hoodie or long sleeved shirt.  With the help of our translator, Zama, some of our team shared words and prayers of encouragement and Carlos decided to give him his favorite hat. Another girl with yellow blouse helped Curtis learn to say “I am happy to be here, “Ngiya jabula ukubalane (needless to way, we are not learning Zulu very fast!) She broke down in sobs when he gave her a team photo at the time of our departure. The photo cost 20 cents but she received it like it was a bar of solid gold. Later, they told us that her father was a violent alcoholic and that she often didn´t kow where she would be sleeping on a given night, depending on his drunken rage.

Por la tarde, hicimos un taller de danza y expresión corporal y aprendimos unos bailes Zulu! Super divertido! Terminamos el día con un tiempo de alabanza en equipo. 

That afternoon we did a dance and corporal movement workshop and learned a couple of Zulu moves. Really fun! We ended the day with a team time of worship by candlelight

Al fin! Una noche con más de 7 horas para dormir! Después de la rutina matinal de devo y desayuno, cargamos el coche y el “baki” (su nombre para una camioneta) para ir a un colegio y realizar un programa para tal vez 20 niños de 6 a 12 años de edad, según nuestra anfitriona. Nos avisó para que nos prepararamos para la flexibilidad africana.

Finally a day with more than 7 hours of sleep! After morning routine of devo and breakfast, we loaded up cars and the “bucky” (their name for a pick-up truck) to go to a local elementary school for a program for maybe 20 kids age 6 to 12 according to our host. She didn´t know if we actually had a classroom available, and warned us to prepare for some authentic African flexibility! 

El colegio era privado con la gran mayoría de alumnos blancos, con sus uniformes y coches de gama alta aparcados en frente. Preparados para una actuación al aire libre, pero de repente tuvimos un aula! Entonces metímos 80 niños y a nuestro equipo dentro para juntos experimentar el sabor de España! Cuando los payasos entraron, los niños se acercaron como abejas a la miel! Por fín tuvimos un suelo duro para el flamenco, una megafonía decente para “You Are God”, Curtis hizo su truco de magia, jugamos varios juegos y terminamos con el ya famoso “Funky Chicken”. Caminamos los tres kilómetros a casa contentos, sabiendo que Dios está formando nuestro mensaje y uniendo a nuestro equipo, aunque todavía hay momentos caóticos.

The school was private and mostly white, kids in uniform and expensive cars parked in front. Set for an outside performance, they suddenly told us that now we have a classroom! So we crammed our team and about 80 kids in for a taste of Spain! When the clown entered, the kids where drawn like bees to honey. Finally there was a hard floor for flamenco, good sound system for “You Are God”,  King Curtis did his magic trick plus games and the always popular “Funky Chicken” rounding out the program. We walked the half-hour home content, knowing that God is forming our message and drawing our team together, even though things can still be chaotic.

Antes de salir, le regalamos a la coordinadora de este “Club de Buenas Noticias” nuestra camiseta roja. Al ver su sonrisa cuando hicimos nuestro programa nos dio un sentido de satisfacción enorme.

At the end of our session we honored the coordinator of the this “Good News Club” with a t-shirt. To see her smile when we were performing, gave great joy and satisfaction. 

Una vez en casa, algunos se estaban preparando para la reunión con unos huérfanos mayores, otros estaban jugando a fútbol (Carlos y Ariel) y otros dormian...(ahem, Curtis). De los que vinieron a la reunión, muchos habían vivido en esta misma casa ya que su función primordial era una casa de acogida.  Empezamos con el juego de Olga para agilizar expresión corporal. Al principio, los chicos estaban un poco tímidos pero al final se abrieron mucho. Cantamos una canción que habíamos aprendido en Zulu, “Akeko ufana no Iesu”. Y hablamos sobre los sueños, como conseguirlos y realizarlos. Nos dividimos en grupos para hablar sobre nuestros sueños y oramos unos por otros. Sus sueños fueron tan sencillos como ser propietario de una casa o conducir un coche algún día o casarse. Terminamos la reunión con el famoso “Ramsam sam” de Ariel. Creo que el tiempo trajo mucha alegría al corazón de Dios y transmitió un mensaje de esperanza. Fue un día estupendo!

At home, some prepared for an evening meeting with about twenty older orphans, others went to play football (Carlos and Ariel) and others just went to sleep.. (“ahem” Curtis). Many of those who came to the meeting had actually lived in the house where we are staying. We started with Olga´s game of corporal expression to get everyone loose. The guys were a little shy, but opened up alot at the end. We began the worship with a Zulu-song. The message was about getting and pursuing dreams.  We split up into groups to talk about our dreams and prayed for each other. The majority of the dreams were as simple as someday owning a house or driving a car or getting married. We ended the reunion by doing some of Ariel´s famous “Ramsamsam”. I think this time brought a lot of joy to God and gave a message of hope. All in all it was a great, and a little less intensive, day.

Tres en uno / Three-in-One

29-7-10 Nuestro primer día de trabajo. La primera visita: un centro de rehabilitación para jóvenes y adultos. Después de hacer unos rompehielos y teatros, tuvimos el plato fuerte: un baile flamenco “freestyle” de Olga, nuestra madrileña. A través de la danza transmitió sus vivencias en el pasado, encadenada con hábitos hasta la desesperación, de las cuales fue finalmente liberada por el poder de Jesús.

First day of real outreach. First stop: a rehabilitation center for youth and adults. After a few icebreakers and drama pieces, the main course: a “freestyle flamenco” dance by Olga Borlaf, our favorite person from Madrid! She was able to transmit through dance a little of her past, chained by habits to the point of desperation until liberated by the power of Jesus.

Luego, les tocó a los residentes contarnos sus vivencias con las drogas, prostitución y un sinfín de cosas que ataban sus vidas. Algunos más tarde nos dijeron que esa había sido la primera vez que habían contado esas historias a alguien, ni el personal del centro sabía los detalles. Sentímos la sonrisa de Dios en ese encuentro.

Then, it was the resident´s turn to share a little of their own stories of drugs, prostitution and almost unbelievably difficult family situations. Some told us later that this was the very first time they had shared this stuff with anyone, not even the staff knew these details.  We felt God’s smile over this special time.

Por la tarde, nos marchamos a un “poblado informal”, es decir una colección de chabolas hechas de todos materiales que te puedas imaginar. Nos encontramos a un montón de niños y por causa de la lluvia y frío (es invierno aquí!), tuvimos que realizar el programa dentro de una chabola (sin ventanas, claro!) En cuanto montamos el espectáculo, cada vez llegaban más niños hasta que más de 100 compartieron 50m2 con nosotros y nuestros dos payasos, Ariel y Albert! Luego ayudamos a los coordinadores distribuir comida y una manta de lana para cada chaval!

That afternoon, we went to what they call an “informal city”, basically a collection of shacks built from any type of material you can imagine!.  We were met by a bunch of kids who, because of the rain and cold (it’s still winter here!) shared about 500ft2 with us shivering in the shack! Later we assisted the program coordinators in distributing food and wool blankets to each child.

Por la noche, fuimos a una reunión casera de blancos en un vecindario de clase alta.  También fue un tiempo maravilloso de ministerio pero dentro de un entorno muy distinto y con un estilo de vida totalmente diferente. Tres tiempos de ministerio en un día!

In the evening, we went to a home cell group for white families in an upper class neighborhood.  Also a wonderful time of sharing, but a greater lifestyle contrast is hard to imagine. Three ministry times in one day...whew!

Día libre en Durban / Flex day in Durban!

Después de 5 días bajo un horario intenso durante campamento Gateway, tomamos un día de descanso, visitando uno de los lugares más turísticos de la ciudad de Durban, la “uShaka Marine World”, un parque acuático espectacular. Todos disfrutamos como niños, viendo tiendas, curioseando y tomando fotos a lo loco.

After our five days of intensive Schedule in the Gateway Camp, we finally took a day off to visit one of the tourist centers of Durban, a place called “uShaka Marine World”. We felt like King’s Kids for sure, checking out the shops and taking photos like crazy.

Comida africana /African food ummm!

Por la comida, disfrutamos de unos suculentos platos típicos sudafricanos y ¡más de uno se puso las botas! Comimos junto a un paisaje lleno de magia y belleza, las playas de la zona sur de Durban. Después de unos momentos agradables de practicar body surf, un vigilante de la playa se nos acercó para decir que no podíamos bañar en ese lugar. Nos explicó que ya se habían retirado las redes que impidieron que los tiburones entren en la bahía y… Bueno, le preguntamos si los tiburones les gusta comida española y cuando nos contestó afirmativamente, terminamos nuestra sesión de body surf!.  Algunos miembros del equipo optaron por observar a estos mamíferos preciosos desde la seguridad de una jaula sumergida en el parque acuático. Una pasada!

For lunch, we were served some succulent local food and more than one of us had a hard time getting our shirts buttoned afterwards! We ate right next to the magic and beauty of the South Beach are of Durban. After trying out our body surfing skills for a while, a lifeguard approached us to warn that swimming was not allowed on this beach! He explained that the shark nets had been taken away and… When we asked if the local sharks liked “Spanish food” and he answered in the affirmative…we stopped our body surfing! Some of the team then decided to view these wonderful mammals from the safety of special underwater cages at the Acuatic Park.  Quite an experience!

Tiempo mas tarde caminamos por un paseo marítimo donde vimos una avioneta que había aterrizado de urgencia sobre las playa. Estamos en África! Camino a casa, se contrataron un par de taxis para ir a nuestro refugio que se tardaría algunos 30 minutos en llegar. Después de una hora y media de dar vueltas y conocer mucho más de la zona que querríamos nos dimos cuenta que los dos conductores no habían pasado mucho por esta zona alta y no llevaban ni mapas ni GPS. Parte de la aventura de nuestra estancia en Durban.

A little later, we strolled along the brand new beach walkway and came across a light plane that had just made an emergency landing on the beach.  We must be in Africa! To go home, we negotiated with two local taxi drivers to take our team back home, normally about a half hour’s journey.  After an hour and a half of going in circles and getting to know a lot more of the surrounding area than we wanted, we realized that the two taxidrivers had not been in this upper class neighborhood very much and had neither maps nor GPS! It’s part of the adventure of staying in Durban!

En casa retoma un buen descanso para estar llenos de energía ya que el día de mañana será nuestro primer día de trabajo cargado de mas aventuras.

At home once again, we hit the sack to be ready for tomorrow, our first day of outreach ministry and a whole lot more adventures.
